May 2026 Update!
substack wants me to add a subtitle but i'm at a loss
Hi all!
Colin Poulton coming to you here from my living room late on a Thursday night. Like I mentioned last month, wedding band season is in full effect and things have been pretty bananas. I’ve managed to find some time to write some new music with the intention of getting some reps live and tracking a new project of some sort about a year from now. The Hot Water EP got very few reps live so I’m excited to have the opportunity to be able to develop the tunes live and take my time before hitting the stu to lay them down. The band sounds great as ever and I’m looking forward to capturing the us a year from now.
Anyways, I don’t have anything profound to say this time. Here’s my schedule for the next few months - very grateful to have some great gigs with fantastic local players coming up at some awesome venues. If you’re in the Nashville area - keep an eye out for me at:
5/10 Soho House Mother’s Day Brunch Nashville 11-3 (Private)
5/14 Urban Cowboy Bar Nashville, TN 6-9 (Residency)
5/29 Soho House Nashville 8-11 (Private)
6/11 Urban Cowboy Bar Nashville, TN 6-9 (Residency)
7/23 Urban Cowboy Bar Nashville, TN 6-9 (Residency)
I’ll also be joining my new friend Thu Ho from California for her gig at Urban Cowboy Bar on 5/21 as part of the Nashville Women In Jazz residency. Very excited to work with new folks and spend more time at what’s quickly becoming my new favorite club downtown.
