Catch the Colin Poulton Trio at the Five Spot in Nashville TN on 4/15 (a week from tomorrow if you’re reading this upon publishing late 4/7) sharing an early show bill with itsjustrand and Sarina-Joy Crowe! I’ll be joined by the homies Thomas Altman on the big guitar and Ian Strobino on drums, we hit at 6 pm sharp for a quick opening slot.

Tune Tag #85 with Jazz Guitarist, Colin Poulton: Gary Burton, Beatles, The Band, Savage Grace, Bobby Charles, Beach Boys, Black Sabbath, Crack the Sky

We had a cool back and forth about music that ranged from Black Sabbath to Gary Burton to the Beach Boys and a lot more! It was fun to go head to head with Brad, a real knowledgeable cat who very graciously shared his platform and gave me the opportunity to talk about my music and some of my favorite tunes. Thanks Brad!

This is a brief update than the last one and future ones. I have the release of my debut single and EP on the horizon with more updates about those coming once my art director wraps up a thing or two (I can’t wait to announce the concept and share the visual element of this music). Life’s been a little busy as you can imagine with the new addition to the family while also nursing our poor dog back to full health after double ACL surgery. It’s a little hectic over here at times and certain things sit on the back burner longer than I’d like, but things are very beautiful in my little corner of the world at the moment :)
